FAQ

How much do you charge to come out?

We charge $69.00 which covers the diagnosis or the first half-hour of labor, whichever comes first. Then we quote any repairs needed.

How often should I change my filter?

It depends on the type of filter, there are many different filters some that need to be changed every 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, even as much as every 6 to 12 months. Refer to the filter’s manufacturer guidelines or give us a call.

How often should my unit be cleaned?

Once per year per unit is not just a good idea, it is required by manufacturer’s to maintain the warranty. Our tune-up is designed to maximize your units efficiency and lifespan while also including a full safety check and carbon monoxide test.

How much does a new unit cost?

It varies greatly. A consultation should be done in-home with you and one of our comfort advisers to go over the different brands, efficiencies, and rebates available. This is to make sure that you get the system that will make you happy for the next 20 years.

How long will my unit last?

The typical life of a unit is between 15 to 20 years, depending on the quality of the brand and how well it is maintained. The older the unit gets, the more service is needed and the less efficient the unit will become.
